Ohio Museums Association Conference - Video
President of Berea Moving & Storage and WOOD-LEE International Art Handler, Lisa Holly, discusses the reasons the upcoming Ohio Museums Association Conference is extra special. Though she's attended the OMA conference for over a decade, this year's events being held in her "backyard" look to provide extraordinary opportunities!
Transcript:
Hi, Lisa. I know the OMA Conference is coming up soon, and you'll be presenting once again...
And I know it's always special. But can you tell me a little bit about why this particular conference might be a little more special for you?
Yes, Brian. Thank you.
For me, a couple...Well, there's so many things, but a couple things are that it's literally in my backyard. It's in Sandusky, and I love Sandusky, but it's also because my niece and my nephew are coming with me, to meet everyone and greet everyone and network with everyone. One of my favorite things, like I said, is like a Saturday.
Saturday is a 1 to 1 kind of, you know, networking. It's not official. It's not part of the program, but it's just people meeting people, and I love that part, and to get to do that with everyone at put in bay! I just can't wait.
So, it's gonna be a great weekend. Friday night. Saturday. Sunday we're gonna have the awards ceremony. Monday we're gonna have our table in the vendor, you know, arena. It's just a wonderful experience, and I get to meet so many amazing people and Woody and Tara help me tag team.
So it's a great event, and I'm really excited to, like I said, to meet a lot of new people.
Well, I really appreciate your enthusiasm, Lisa...
And it's great to know that you get to make those meaningful connections, for yourself, and for WOOD-LEE, and the team. So, thanks a lot, Lisa.
You're welcome, Brian.
